Our mission

Long-Term Oriented – Centrally Coordinated –
Responsible Across Switzerland – Locally Organised –
Sustainably Profitable – Environmentally Conscious

Swiss4net is backed by experienced, long-term investors: Arcus Infrastructure Partners LLP, Swiss Life and a Swiss pension fund. This ownership structure supports the development and long-term operation of local fibre optic networks in Switzerland.

Organisation

Swiss4net establishes a dedicated operating company in the form of a company limited by shares for each local fibre optic network. This local operating company is responsible for the planning, construction and operation of the respective point-to-point FTTH fibre optic network in its region and is wholly owned by Swiss4net Holding AG.

Swiss4net works with Swiss partners to expand its fibre optic networks. In this way, we combine local responsibility with a centrally coordinated infrastructure strategy.

Press Reviews (in German)

«Swiss4net is another company that is investing in the construction and operation of local optical fibre networks. Swiss4net is planning, constructing and financing FTTH networks based on P2P architecture in communes and cities where they can lease the duct installations required from the commune or energy provider. Swiss4net now has at least eight local optical fibre networks (e.g. in Morges, Pully, Chiasso, Ascona, Baden and Wettingen). Various telecom providers deliver their services via the networks operated by Swiss4net.»
